Susan's Pieces

My name is Susan and I am the owner of Piecework- a company founded on the principal that all of the pieces of our life make up a whole wonderful quilt of life. I know that piecing things together- whether a quilt, a costume, or decoupaging a mirror frame- has celebrated good things in my life and helped me piece things back together at other times. Creativity is a blessing!

Piecework is a family owned and operated business that sells fabric and quilting supplies through the mail and the Internet. I also plan to add the following lines to our store in the near future: Knitting, Yarns, Counted Cross Stitch, and Gifts and Collectibles. People often ask "who" the person is behind the company. I enjoy talking with and getting to know my customers through your notes and E-mail- so let me tell you a little about myself. I am the mother of seven beautiful and talented children. I have a wonderful husband who supports me and has learned to love fabrics and fine needlework over the years. He also handles all of the computer programming.

I have returned to my "roots" with my love for sewing and quilting. I completed my first quilt when I was fourteen and have continued to sew throughout the years. I enjoy counted cross stitch, rug hooking, and making dolls and angels. Like many of you, sewing and crafts have always been a part of my life and it was a natural progression to open Piecework. I hope that you enjoy shopping with us and I look forward to hearing from you.
